What are clear braces made from?
Clear braces are made from a ceramic material that is made to match the colour of your teeth.
Do ceramic braces discolor?
Ceramic braces do not discolour!
The tiny module or elastic that holds the wire onto the ceramic bracket can however discolour if you eat very pigmented foods. Luckily we change these at each appointment (or even prior to your next appointment upon special request if you have a special event coming up!)
Do metal braces move teeth faster than ceramic braces?
No, whether you have ceramic braces or metal braces the treatment time still remains the same depending on your treatment plan.
